Macheo Children’s Organization operates in the slums and rural areas surrounding the city of Thika in Kenya. Through a comprehensive range of interventions and efficient, tailored support, the staff reach 50,000 children annually. The support measures focus on areas such as nutrition and health, access to education, assistance for teenage mothers and babies, and mental health.
Macheo, which means ‘Sunrise’ in Kiswahili, was founded in 2005 with the aim of giving children from Kenya a better future.
